"The place itself was very nice and staff was very friendly. It is definitely tailored towards couples with a tub on the balcony, dual shower faucets in the shower, beach cabanas, etc. Still would be great for family as well. There is an herbalist cart within the hotel as well if that is something you want. It is not a noisy area, you will pretty much only hear the occasional small boat traffic. It is a small fishing village though so aside from snorkeling the reef and seeing pig island (Koh Madsum), there is not much else to do unless you have a vehicle or take a taxi which would be some distance. For activities, this isn’t really the place. For a nice relaxing and/or romantic getaway, I would book again. "

"An amazing hotel. Just got back from a 10 day stay at Kanok Buri and i highly reccomend this hotel. The staff are so lovely, funny and helpful. The private beach is so convenient and the pool is gorgeous. Food is lovely too. Its on Lipa Noi, west side of Koh Samui which is quieter than the East but this is what i wanted. Beautiful grounds with exotic trees, koi fish in ponds and its so easy to book a 'grab' taxi to go to places around the island so transport is not an issue, loads of gorgeous of places to eat near the hotel ( we liked trying new places each day) breakfast at the hotel is amazing, pineapple pancakes were my favourite, the fruit is out of this world too. Chef and front of house staff are amazing here, thank you Kanok Buri for an anazing holiday!!! Hope to see you again. Xx"

"If there was six stars I would give it that. Stayed two nights in a deluxe room and asked if it was possible to upgrade to a room with a pool. They accommodated us. The upgrade was not free but very reasonable and worth the extra money. The breakfast was not the biggest we have had but was one of the tastiest we have had. Staff was super kind. The grounds were well kept. There was a lot of renovation going on but was quiet (no power tools). I would recommend this hotel without reservation to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. Would return to this lovely hotel in the future."
