"The property is beautiful but seems like it’s ready for refresh, at least our room was. It was fine, but not as nice as we expected. The granite in our bathroom was cracked, the AC was sooo loud and wasn’t great at cooling the room, the fridge was not cold. We had a nice brunch at the restaurant, food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Walkable to Duke campus. "

"Beautiful property, but very little services available on site, no luggage storage, no one to ask questions or help with baggage up the stairs, or troubleshooting issues. There is a number you can text, but only responds during business hours. Not a good location if you will be relying on uber or lyft. Steam shower is a major plus."

"Michael is improving property so some things were under construction. It is a cute house that is well decorated/modernized. Be aware of the spiral staircase as that could be an issue for certain guests. Had a nice relaxing time with kayaks,etc at the lake. Thanks Michael."
