"We stayed for 6 nights at Hotel Ve in Mechelen. Our hotel room was a great size with a large shower and seperate toilet. The hotel is really well situated on in the middle of the old town and you can walk everywhere, which is great. We had breakfast included and this was a really good way to start the day. We particularly liked having a fresh omelet cooked each day. Overall the hotel was a great experience"

"Lovely hotel on the edge of Mechelen. Shame about the building work opposite which has been going on over a year and looks like it will not be finished anytime soon. Parking is in the nearby multi-storey. Walking distance from town, many places to eat. "

"11:20PM incredibly loud Indian wedding directly beneath us was very disturbing. No coffee maker, crappy instant coffee. No robes or slippers. Old worn-out furniture was in severe need of refinishing. Excellent location."

"This is a great hotel ideally located for a longer visit and walk into the city. Our bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. Although a long drive from Lincoln may have helped our sleep. The shower was excellent in terms of heat and power but the dated above bath holder and curtain let it down. It was too high and was best hand held or angered on the stability bar. That was a pity as otherise this was a nice hotel with great free parking. "

"This property was excellent for us based on our need to be in a specific location and specific needs to spend the Sabbath at the hotel. Room was large and the balcony lovely. Breakfast was mediocre, crowded and poorly staffed. The elevators were old and tricky. Parking is cramped. The property was modern and useful but nevertheless seemed dingy. Staff was helpful in a non-friendly way."
