"Although the Harvard Inn was busy with Sunday diners we were greeted warmly and efficiently. Arriving slightly before check in our room No 9 was ready. First impressions were positive. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Absolutely no complaints about bedroom or bathroom facilities. Only comment would be room was very hot, bathroom window could only be opened slightly (due to hooks in the wrong position) and the lack of a box of tissues. "Have not stayed here for a few years, not a lot has changed, stilll amazing room, with walk in shower and huge, comfortable bed. Plus some nice extra touches in the room with upmarket décor and mini fridge The brasserie is not open Mon/Tues but the café offers evening meals that were fabulous. Delicious, fresh and a great selection. The staff were amazing as well, great service, friendly and superbly attentive. Will be looking to stay here again"

A few issues with room (no.5), water not draining from bath, mirror light not working. I know maintenance will be sorting these out soon, probably already sorted! "We were the only guests Limited staff Despite being only guests we couldn’t extend our departure We had wanted to stay until closer to midday as we were attending a midday funeral but house keeping needed to clean room for later incoming guests In the end we sat in Costa to kill time"

"I was made to feel so welcome from the minute I arrived, until the minute I left. I was given a free upgrade on my room, and I have to say, the shower was superb. The whole place was clean, and the beer garden wasso relaxing. Great breakfast. If I have a reason to visit the island again, I will always try and book here. Thank you for a pleasant stay, highly recommend. "
