"This is our second time staying at Carlsbad Inn at one of the King Suites and we love this property because it is very family-friendly with a fully stocked kitchenette and clean, accessible pools/firepits/BBQs. You are in the middle of Carlsbad Village and can walk to a large number of restaurants, stores, and bars, as well as having walkable access to the beach. Parking is by permit only so it is very easy. I took off one star because both times that we stayed here we’ve had trouble with...

"We had an incredible few days celebrating my husbands Birthday and NYE. The front desk staff ordered a bottle of champagne for my husband and the Villa was exceptional. The grounds are spectacular and plenty to do there as to shopping, eating and golf. "

"Overall everything great- kitchen a little meh. Ordered two salmon kiddos entrees with rice. Both came with mash pots no rice. One salmon had so much salt on top it was not edible. I cut off the top half of salmon. Tried calling house keeping but first phone didn’t work. Second phone worked and kitchen happily sent some rice. Charcuterie board was delicious. "
