"A truly magical place! Great service. Kind and helpful people. Management repeatedly went out of their way to ensure we were pleased and taken care of. Dining options while limited (that is to say there is one restaurant) was nonetheless wonderful! Again, service made it superior. I could write paragraphs about the views…. And both our sunrise and sunsets were literally a once in a lifetime experience! I rarely speak in superlatives. Something about sitting in full view of the Himalayas with a fire going and enjoying a snifter of very fine cognac …. Need I say more? Not sure if we will ever get back, but if we do, I can’t imagine staying elsewhere. "

The music was lowered but was till loud enough to keep me awake along with the noisy chatter until 230am. All said and done for $350 a night i expected a bit more peace and quiet and a good night sleep which i failed to get "

"We stayed here for almost two weeks. I have an allergy to Gluten and the chefs went out of their way to make me special food for the entire trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our second home. We will be going back and staying at Hotel Shambala! Thank you so much to everyone. We have travelled all over the world, and have never felt so welcome and taken care of. The staff was fabulous. Our room was always cleaned, and when we needed anything, it was there.
