The music was lowered but was till loud enough to keep me awake along with the noisy chatter until 230am. All said and done for $350 a night i expected a bit more peace and quiet and a good night sleep which i failed to get "

"We stayed here for almost two weeks. I have an allergy to Gluten and the chefs went out of their way to make me special food for the entire trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like this was our second home. We will be going back and staying at Hotel Shambala! Thank you so much to everyone. "The staff at this hotel are wonderful! The area around the hotel is chaotic, but once you're at the hotel, it's a different world! Very clean, quiet, safe, upscale, modern, and beautiful. We were treated with the utmost kindness. The room was beautiful and they were kind enough to pack us a delicious breakfast since we had an early flight and couldn't eat breakfast there. We had a wonderful dinner upstairs at Chow Bella...the service and the food were exceptional! We were celebrating our anniversary, and they brought us chocolates and a beautiful cake, and decorated our room. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kathmandu. We stayed here twice and loved it."
