"The riad décor is beautiful as all raids are. The location is great right in the edge of the medina. The shower in my room was broken so it could not stay up on the holder and the hose had leaks so water sprayed everywhere and the door didn't shut so water got all over the bathroom floor every time I showered. "This was a very quaint guest house that was comfortable and just right. A great breakfast. The kitchen was immaculate. Ventrally located in the old town - a great place to spend a few days. "

"The breakfast was first rate! If breakfast was the only thing served at this hotel, I'd return just for that. Did not like the damp odor from the bathroom. There needs to be some device that keeps all the moisture within the shower area. Its a humid climate so water from the shower gets on the floor of the bathroom and never dries properly hence the odor of mildew."

"My room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel. A nightclub which exited at the front of hotel was open nearly every night until 4 or 5am. Very noisy from 2am until 5am most nights. I stayed 2wks total. Many taxies outside dropping off and picking up through the night. Luckily I sleep well but was woken up several times with horns beeping and many people shouting. "The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too.
