"Very lovely Hotel. Staff were attentive and seemed to really care. My room was lovely. My only gripe is that I was cold in the Dining room and my room wasn’t very warm. It was a very cold weekend so hope that this is a little bit unusual. On the whole s lovely few days in a very lovely town. 👍"

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay and Helene was the perfect host. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The pre-ordered breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect as a base for everywhere we wanted to visit in Yorkshire and right next to Pickering centre. Would certainly highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Only point to make is, if wanting to visit steam train or Pickering castle, check opening times. "

Our bedroom was very well furnished and excellent taste in decor with pieces of antique furniture. Very comfortable bed, super large bathroom with amenities. Wonderful breakfast selection in an amazing dining room… the Cornmill is a unique and fascinating property with the mill water wheel on show through a secure glass viewing area! What is no5 to love?!!"
