"We stayed for three nights at the tail end of a trip around the Pelopennese. Everything was great. The bay it overlooks is beautiful. The room was clean and well put together. And the pool/bar/food scenes are all very good and no problems at all (not spectacular, but all well done). Finally, the staff were really approachable and had some excellent ideas on places to go in Mani that weren't showing up in my guide book and google searches. I have no hesitation recommending people go here. "

Upon arrival, there were two stains on the outdated, cheap hotel which is not up to standard for a hotel listed as 4 stars. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. "There was no one available to check me in. When someone came, they had "forgotten" about my reservation and then asked me if it was only one night. Acted bothered when I said it was 3 nights booked months prior. The fridge in the room was off and hot. No iron, not even a kettle for tea or coffee. They said I was the only one in the "castle" so I wondered in the kitchen and the OPENED rooms looking for a kettle only to realized I was NOT alone. The main door lock was broken and one day we found the room open. It was not closing properly and even the new room we were moved to had issues with lock. "Like the name says this is a mountain resort. You will have a very windy Road up the mountain to the resort, but the drive is worth it. Great views. Our stay was in October and we were one of two couples at the resort so very quiet. The restaurant was not open when we got to the Resort. We didn’t expect to have a meal there. We were able to have a few glasses of wine in the bar before it closed at nine and the gentleman that worked that night was very helpful. The morning breakfast was very nice. Homemade jams and Marmalades. It was a little cool to use the pool, but it looked very nice. I think it would be a great place to go in the summertime for a relaxing holiday."
