I arrived at the hotel prior to the stated check-in time, however was surprised to find that there was no receptionist and the hotel was completely closed. Calling the phone number on the door didn't resolve anything as it went to a voicemail box. "Das Hotel hat einen deutlichen Renovierungsrückstau. Ausgerissene Sonnensegel, abgeplatzte Fliesen im Poolbereich. Die Küche war nur mäßig. Die Straße ist sehr laut, wenn man im Sommer das Fenster geöffnet lassen möchte. Wir hatten aber auch ein Zimmer seitlich zur Straße hin. Zum Tal ausgerichtet kann dies leiser sein. "

I paid extra for breakfast and was told my room was upstairs with key in the door. 2 flights of stairs and the room was clean and tidy.
