"I had a WONDERFUL stay. I was attending the LIDO SOUNDS festival in Linz, and was having trouble getting a taxi. The owner's family helped me get one - they invited me to sit down with them, offered me something to drink while i waited (it was a VERY hot day). Thank you SO much for that generosity and hospitality."

"While the location and property itself is fine, it is in a high standard with artsy feel there is one major shortcoming. Apparently hotel has this weird “policy” whereby they assume guests do not want room cleaned (for staying more than one night) unless they inform the staff they wanted room cleaned or put a “sign” on the door saying you want room cleaned. The front desk agent was not sympathetic and did not understand how ridiculous the policy is. I’m surprised other guests did not mention...

"It was a great stay here. The service was wonderful, and the quality of the room was top. HOWEVER, the pillows and the shower are terrible. "My daughter and I stayed here for a few days while visiting my son who is studying in JKU. We found this hotel to be enjoyable to stay in. It is in a very convenient location in the city centre within a 10 walking distance to the train station and right beside the main tram line. Our room was very clean and the reception staff were friendly. We did not have any food in the hotel. The only negative I could point out is that the rooms did not have any charging points which are essential nowadays....

"I arrived on Sunday, September 29. Neither my reservation with Expedia nor the hotel's site mentioned that the hotel front desk as well as the hotel is closed on Sunday. "Nice apartment/hotel. Very close to a supermarket, and walking distance to the bus stop. If you don’t mind walking about 10-15 minutes, you can get to some of the main streets with lots of shopping and restaurants, and even to the main plaza (Hauptplatz). No on-site staff, but responsive to emails. Minor issues: There’s a washer in the room (with no instructions for its use), but no dryer.
