I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . There are many things to do swimming , cycling , walking , visit the hotel vegetable garden and see the birds enroute . I look forward to visiting Spier next year after its...

"We stayed two nights in a ground floor room with some outside space. room very spacious, aircon and well decorated. Lovely to have the pool which was quiet and lovely to cool off. Guest house is a good 10mins walk to the main street but surrounding area very quiet. Breakfast as plentiful. Staff extremely friendly. I would definitely return!"

Everywhere in town is walking distance - perfect for leaving your car and enjoy the wines. "This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."
