"Located right in the centre of Helsingborg, the V Hotel provided us with cleanliness, polite and tentative staff and a room which was on the smaller side compared to normal. However, from previous experience from staying within Scandinavia, we knew this was normal. A vast array of typical and Scandinavian breakfast items were available in the mornings and it even lasted until 11am! This was perfect for me and my fiancé as we like to eat later in the mornings. "It was nice but the area has so much construction going on. Our room had clothes in the laundry from previous guests. The master bedroom overheated from the Sun in the morning and loud noises echoed and woke up guests with windows opened. The lobby concierges were new but they were kind. The area around is really nice, the marina and all but just needs more and to finish road work."

"The receptionist was very un professionals and rude in dealing with the customers. The door card was getting deactivated again and again it was so annoying and on the top receptionist was rude. "

Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. A bit disappointing in a hotel at this price point. "
