"We stayed for 1 night en-route from Yorkshire to the Scottish Highlands, and we were absolutely gutted..... because we wished we had booked for longer! We had room 101 and it was simply beautiful. I actually cant fault a thing. We will definitely be back.... but for longer next time :)"

Our room was immaculate and impressively decorated. The bed was very comfortable, but the stand out feature was the tin bath - a real showstopper. The breakfast, (included in the price) was huge and tasty. I really liked the fact that they offered a packed lunch as an alternative to the breakfast. The village of Rothbury was beautiful."

"Just had a wonderful stay at The Otterburn Castle Country House Hotel. Lovely grounds and despite it only being 9th Feb the woodlands and grounds were overed in snowdrops indicating Spring is not far away. At this time of year we stayed ahead of season and there were not too many people here. There is a small bar area and a lovely old world lounge where we sat before and after our evening meal with a few glasses of wine in front of a log fire. The hotel only has about 17 rooms so you are...
