"You have to understand you're staying in a heritage building, within a town centre, above a busy, excellent pub/resteraunt. To some extent, the bedroom is a secondary consideration. However, staff very friendly, room warm & comfortable, food excellent and ideal for exploring Alnwick. Great stay, but don't expect the Ritz. "

"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. "We had a great one night stay at the Amble Inn. The hotel location was perfect for our needs. The 5*** rating I gave is absolutely true as the hotel is immaculate, the attached pub is great and the staff are so pleasant and welcoming. Well Done all. So much so….
