"Lovely staff in a property full of character. Although the rooms are quite small it doesn't matter as there were great views of the sea. Amazing location...walking around Getaria was a delight"

"Nice hotel, a bit unusual in its design. All the rooms appear to be at the top two floors. It has a nice sitting area on the first floor. Opposite the hotel are some beautiful old buildings and a little stream. Its walking distance into to town center and the railway station. The town has a very relaxed atmosphere. "

"We stayed here when we had a rental car and wanted to explore the Basque area of Spain. We did day trips to Bilbao, San Sebastián and Pamplona. The Parador is in a beautiful setting and the room was very comfortable. We did all our eating and shopping during our day trips so the Parador was a quiet, country setting to relax. We did eat breakfast at the Parador but no other meals. Breakfast was good - very typical Spanish style hotel breakfast. "
