"Super friendly staff and had English speaking staff. Food was fantastic and gave a variety of options for the meal course. Was close to the shopping and sake districts, so you can walk around and see what there is to offer from Takayama. Free shuttle bus to and from Takayama station. "

"Truly one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. Should be rated five stars. The facilities were elegant and spotless. The onsen was large and clean with two private baths which could be used on a first come first served basis. The hotel offered a lot of freebies such as popsicles, non alcoholic drinks, and even late night ramen. We had two meals included in the price, a dinner and a breakfast the next morning. The meals were elaborate and beautifully presented. A quick shout out to our waitress from Taiwan, Judy who provided impeccable service."

"Very close to the train station. Rather new hotel with very nice setup. The rooms are bigger than maybe what you find in other bigger cities in the rest of the country. Nice onsen which is not too busy when i visit."
