"This place was not as advertised, and should honestly be taken down as an option to stay at until things get improved or drop the price significantly. It smelled horrible and old. It was freezing. The mattress had stains on it. The hot tub that was advertised was covered in dirt, pine needles and bird poop. The decor is overwhelming and straight from the 60s and not in a charming way. "The house was very charming and spacious. They were great hosts as that stocked the bathroom essentials. We forgot to bring shampoo but were able to shower due to the bathrooms being stocked. The bed that we slept on was uncomfortable and gave me back problems, but I think that my back is used to my bed."

"Hunter's Retreat is such a comfortable, clean, and lovely home to get away to. Everything that we needed was provided for us and my family had a great time walking down memory lane watching a few of the home's classic movies that are available to watch.
