"Loved this property!! My only complaints is the ac unit doesnt go below 68 in the rooms ... and normally that temp is fine, it was hot and stifling when in room and sleeping. Also light as a part of the backboard for bed doesnt have a switch to turn off. Its very bright when sleeping. "

"The house had plenty of room for our group to spread out. No worries about waiting on bathrooms and lots of seating in the living room and at the dining table for playing board games. Most of all the kitchen had everything we needed for making our own meals even though it only took us 10 minutes to walk to the village for shopping. I would say the walk back up the hill was more exercise than i had planned."

"This place was not as advertised, and should honestly be taken down as an option to stay at until things get improved or drop the price significantly. It smelled horrible and old. It was freezing. The mattress had stains on it. The hot tub that was advertised was covered in dirt, pine needles and bird poop. The decor is overwhelming and straight from the 60s and not in a charming way. "Hunter's Retreat is such a comfortable, clean, and lovely home to get away to. Everything that we needed was provided for us and my family had a great time walking down memory lane watching a few of the home's classic movies that are available to watch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with every serving/cooking/kitchen item one might need.
