"I chose this hotel because one of the pools has gradual shallow steps - my elderly parent cannot climb up and down the usual vertical-style pool steps so this was a really important feature for us. It meant she was able to use the pool by walking in and out. The hotel was generally lovely. The rooms had lots of space, were always clean, and the balcony was really appreciated. While some amenities were not available due to renovations during off peak hours (on site restaurant/fitness room), the staff made every effort to accommodate individual needs. Room service was available and was timely and delicious. Local restaurants were available for order-in. Shuttles were available for excursions. The Spa staff were accommodating to time and professional. It was easily one of my most treasured vacations. Highly recommend the Rocabella resort. "
