It was rainy weather and was the last hour until the pool/ hot tub closes and had to go to front lobby and ask for pool towel which wasn’t too far so wasn’t a big deal. Second time staying and the room fee is reasonable with being inside casino and food near inside. "

"After staying at other hotels in Rancho Cordova this time stayed at the Hawthorne. From the outside it did no look like much, but the minute you walk inside you can see things are getting better, yes some things still need repair and updating. This hotel is in the middle of refurbishment and this brings me great hope. The staff could not have been nicer. My room had new flooring , new bed, new couch and updated bathroom.
