Welcome to our secret Shangri La of the Sierras! This studio guest house is on our private 1 acre property. We live in the main house. The guest house has its own private entrance and fenced in yard. This natural setting is peaceful yet close to everything you need. 7 minutes from HWY 50. Free range chickens and bunnies on main property. Not a good place for loud noise or partying but a calm quiet place to hide and restore yourself.

The house was super charming. In a very quiet neighborhood would definitely come back love the way it was decorated the fireplace. Added such a warm coziness that was comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

Wonderful weekend
My grown daughter and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend away. It was very quiet and easy. We saw deer in the morning and were able to go to town quickly for our a pedicure and groceries. We had a wonderful weekend in this small and peaceful home.

Cozy Neighborhood Hideaway
We enjoyed our 4-night stay in the cozy cottage with our two golden retrievers. There was plenty of room, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed to eat most of our meals in during our stay. The communication with the host was simple and had a quick turnaround. The owners give you all the space and privacy you would like. We would definitely stay again.

Totally restful
We loved the cottage. Everything we needed was there. Our dog loved a fenced in yard to go out in. The weather was perfect and we really didn’t need the heater or the ac.

Great Stay
Very relaxing stay. Self check in was super easy. The cottage was very nice and comfortable. It was well appointed, with everything we needed. Lot's of books and DVDS. There were even drinks and snacks in the kitchen! Our dog Lana enjoyed it as well. She was very relaxed and enjoyed the fenced in yard as well as some short walks. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Our daughter was coming from out of town for the holidays and when their flight home got cancelled due to weather, Sarah was very accommodating in letting them extend their stay.

I stayed at this cottage while relocating to the Sacramento area. Perfect set up for myself and my dog. Very private quiet and peaceful but very convenient to stores and access to the freeway The hosts are great. The cottage was easy to settle into and had a lot of nice touches and was well stocked.

I absolutely fell in love with this little cottage! I have a two year old and he loved the bunnies and the big fluffy squirrel who had breakfast with us one morning. The house was perfect for a couple. It’s secluded and has everything needed for a weekend getaway.

Christmas vacation
We had a wounded visit. I had myself, husband, 7year old and two small dogs for the visit. I enjoyed the openness of the small house. Also a plus was the fenced in yard for my dogs to go out safely and play around. The host was very easy to reach for any questions. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family.

I loved the place and wildlife (Bambi family and Thumper family) and owners. There was a plumbing issue but they were responsive and refunding me. So I believe the next guests will enjoy it with that problem care if.

Visited with husband and 2 dogs during open house and broker tour of our home. The fenced yard was perfect for the pups and the cottage is super cute and comfortable. We felt right at home and hope to visit again. Host is responsive and easy to work with. LOVED IT!!
