The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. "The apartment is in a castle in Certaldo Alta. You have a modern apartment but once you step out of the door you feel like nothing has changed since Boccaccio lived here. Great restaurants down the street. Dolce vita at its best. The family loved it."
