The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility issues make sure you book an accessible room, otherwise you will be faced with a plethora of small staircases and a menagerie of random doors. "

"Lovely weekend in the Cotswolds staying at Lygon Arms. We stayed in a Cottage Room, which was very charming and quaint. The whole hotel is full of history and it's very charming. Staff were brilliant and friendly. "

"This was our second stay at this property and we are fans. It’s a great location for visiting Stratford-Upon-Avon, the theaters there, and the historical sites. The staff is outstanding - they have helped us book car service when we’ve needed it and answer oddball questions when we have those. They are very concerned with food allergies at the restaurant and you may even be asked about those allergies multiple times, it’s kind of sweet. We really like their breakfasts and had dinner there this time too because we got in rather late the first night. The hotel is just 5 or 6 blocks from the Avon and the RSC, so a fairly easy walk even when you have walking issues like I do, so consider that if you want to enjoy the town, but Uber is prevalent and taxis are also easy to book in advance. "

"They had a full service gym attached to the hotel which was excellent. The breakfast offered a nice variety on both hot and cold side. Rooms were a bit small but I wasn’t planning to dance in it and the beds were comfortable."
