"A small room but full of character and colour. I stayed in a studio room and the ceiling fan and opening windows were essential. Great breakfast options and a vibrant colourful neighbourhood of restaurants cafes and shops. "

"Parking is an issue but a surface car park next door worked out well. It’s more of an aparthotel and the unit was well equipped, including a washer and dryer. No bar and no reception after 7pm. Lots of shops nearby."

"Found it very hard to find parking near the hotel. Initial check in was very confusing as to what floors to go to for meals and access to shopping centre. A map of the city would have been great. Particularly finding the ferry terminal for transferring to the South Island. "

"Great hitel, room is very well equipped. Laundry facilities for guests. Parking at the rear of the hotel. Beautiful views from our window over Wellington harbour. We actually went back for a night after we’d visited the South Island. It’s close to the shopping area, restaurants, and the Te Papa museum on the water front. "

"The receptionist was very polite and helpful. She was alone while dealing with so many check in customers and dealt with them so professionally. I will be back for another stay in the future"

"I chose to pay a premium to stay here because of the pool and hot tub, but sadly the pool area was a bit gross - grubby, slightly murky water and the hot tub was "temporarily" out of action for repair, but looked like it had been in that state for a while with a missing tile and filthy inside. I only swam once in a 2 night stay where i normally would swim twice a day. The room was good, bed was a bit hot due to the latex mattress. Shower was just OK. Great location but not worth the extra 30%...
