"We went in the bar for pre dinner drinks and tried to pay on the room and were informed this is not possible which was a shame and not usual for this type of hotel. Time for dinner was prebooked and we arrived and we’re shown to our table. Food was lovely but whole meal was spoilt at the end when my husband ordered a liquer coffee. "Very friendly staff on arrival and in all interactions. Public spaces looked nice. Room was clean and simple. Only gripe was the need to de-timescale the taps and shower head. "My mother and I stayed in one of the twin rooms. We where greeted at reception by Gracie, who was delightful, allowing us to check in earlier than expected. Later on the evening Josseb, was very helpful in explaining and downloading Uber onto my mobile, no task or request was ever to much trouble. The dining, again all the staff are so happy and helpful, my mother was made to feel very comfortable and special. Our twin room was gorgeous, fantastic bed, crisp white linen, a fridge and safe too....

"The room was very comfortable and homely. I was woken by a droning noise which on inspection was coming from either a boiler or air conditioning unit outside by the kitchen area.
