"The restaurant and the staff in the country house, were very good, but Hotels.com was, I think, deceptive about the accomodations. Pictures on Hotels.com all showed the impressive looking country house building, but what we actually slept in, was the "Sportsman's Lodge", which was actually, one of many small cabins on the estate; like in Butlins or Hi-de-Hi minus the knobbly knees contests, etc. The "Sportsman's Lodge" cabins were adequate, but pretty basic, and were a disappointment, thinking...

"The Dunvegan is a great spot just around the corner from the Old Course first tee. Staff are great, food is good, the bar is hopping and the rooms are comfortable, renvovated and a well priced. Well done!"
