"Hotel has a lovely view of the ocean. The balcony was wonderful. Had dinner at the hotel and it was great. The breakfast and dinner staff was attentive and interesting. Included breakfast was perfect. You could eat a lot or have fruit, yogurt or something light if you prefer. "

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"Absolutely lovely hotel just outside the old town of Otranto. Beautifully designed and very comfortable with 2 levels of outdoor patio with seaside views. There is a gym and spa and a jacuzzi for use (small fee). Great breakfast and comfortable beds! "

"Book immediately! This place was magical; the staff, the food, the pool-it all exceeded our expectations. The staff gave us great recommendations for sight seeing, and led us to places we otherwise would not have visited. The dinner blew us away, every taste was rich with flavor. Stefano made our dining experience remarkable with his professionalism and conversation. The owners of this hotel were always around which made the experience feel so down to earth and authentic, their yellow labrador retriever also roams the ground. The free daily breakfast buffet was so good, the quality of food was 5 star. We will be back!"

"I’ll start with the pros: excellent location, breakfast was good with some pastries and some meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruit. Pool was big and the bartenders and thé breakfast staff were great and very friendly. Hotel was clean and parking was free and easy right in front of the hotel Cons- beds were rock hard, pillows were very limp. Stayed three nights here and had horrible sleep. The air con was hardly working and it was very hot in the room, barely blowing out air. The fridge was also not working well and warm at best. We called down for an iron and never got one. The room lacked a coffee maker or tea kettle and it was supposed to come with robes and slippers. The room was minimal and bare. To top everything the front desk staff was miserable and rude. Didn’t seem to want to help or say hello or goodbye upon entering or even smile. Did not make our stay enjoyable. Probably would look elsewhere to stay next Time"

"Really great spot that epitomizes the south west of Puglia. Lovely old buildings that have been renovated. Great pool. Unfortunately this was out of action the day we wanted to use it, but I still had a dip in the bambino pool! Horses surround the property too, so day hello. Great, grand main building too, with a lovely Edra lounge in the entrance, and frescos all throughout. Definitely worth a stay!"

"Lovely quiet place, just outside of the city. We had the best breakfast that we’ve ever had in Italy. Fabulous choice and very fresh. Dinner and wine was very good, although limited to a fish menu. Thought it was good value for money."
