"Stayed here many times . Was down visiting family nearby so really only used the room for sleeping . Comfy bed and black out blinds gave us a good sleep . Handy for the town centre pubs and takeaways . Shower and amenities in the room are good with decent size TV. "

"Received a warm friendly greeting from Gary, the receptionist, on our arrival. Staff very friendly and helpful. The lounge is rather dark and not well lit in the evening. We also found the limited seating in the lounge was quickly filled with non-residents some of whom were drinking take-away coffees. Most days we found seats and it was OK."

"We stayed at Piersland for a couple of nights for Hogmanay (New Years). It was a lovely room - very comfortable and cosy despite it being stormy weather. We went for the gala dinner and it was great fun. Fantastic food and service. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Would recommend for families and couples."
