"Suite was tasteful but a little worn - in bathroom in particular. The shower took easily 10 mins to heat up. Was on the brink of giving up when it began to heat up. Didn't like having an overloaded extension in the room. The young guys working in the dining room were terrific -friendly, polite and professional. Ross handled an issue with our booking immediately. Food was very good. I would return."

"Second visit here recently and noticed no difference in level of care and attention. The hosts are simply amazing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in or around Sanquhar. Food is amazing too. It would 100% be my go to if I ever needed to be back in the area. Gardens and river view are great for a post breakfast walk. "

"Nice little place at a good price as we were going to The Open at Troon. No services in the village but next village has a great food pub and hotel that does decent pub Faye. when we visited the hotel bar and restaurant was closed for refurb but they did do a good breakfast"

"Bed was large and comfortable. The room was spec’d to a high standard which was nice. The kitchenette had all the necessary equipment with a large built in fridge and freezer compartment. Getting into the property was easy and fully self service. Onsite parking is free with quite a few spots at the back and front. "Lovely apartment unit in the country. Very private, yet close to town and facilities. Overall stay was really good, a few things could have been better. Pod coffee machine (pods available but no machine) Shower mixer was really tricky to set the hot water temperature Bed and bedding covers could be improved, we felt the bed and bedding let down the rest of the apartment facilities, compared with our stays in other places."
