"Great staff at check in. Reasonable car park charge at £5 for 24 hours. Breakfast was the usual choices, but staff again were friendly and helpful and the food was hot. "Overall the stay was comfortable and fairly priced. The grade 2 listed is of great standing and looks. While you walk around this Tudor house and grounds feeling you’re brushing with the past. The food, is of a great standard and size. The down side to our weekend here, was being woken up at 11.30ish with the sound of the bar emptying its bottles in the collection bin and the same thing Sunday morning at 7.30. No thoughts of quietly. The second night kept awake by the neighbouring bedroom left...

"Fabulous room, we had a suite in the old part of the hotel. There was a separate sitting room, large bedroom with superking four poster. The bathroom was beautiful and very well designed. The room was warm and comfortable. The hotel is situated in central Guildford and it is easy to walk to most venues in the town. The only downside is that the hotel has no parking and although you can park on the street in the evening there is no access during the day for unloading/loading luggage."
