"Overall nice stay. The room was a little dated but it was clean. What I found extremely odd was when I arrived the front desk said they would need to keep hold of my passport. I refused this and left them with my drivers license. Also when I left and was checking out, I was told to wait while the woman behind the desk went to check my room "

"The Mondial is a high end hotel in the central Tiranë. We were able to find on street parking next to the hotel thanks to onsite staff. The hotel is quite elegant. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable. We explored the area briefly but opted for dinner in the hotel dining room. The meal was excellent. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had on our trip, so far."

"Disappointed to be put in their other hotel. Didn't realise that their carparking was with another site and overall will cost us another €30. Directions could be more accurate as the hotel is not on the road described but backs onto it. We ended up parking the car to find it!!"

"A good hotel and fairly well positioned to walk into the city. Not a lot around the immediate area and it lacked a bit of character (like Tirana itself). The hotel was decent although a bit noisy due to the positioning of the room I was in. The bathroom also had a bit of a bad water odour (suspect the drains needed a proper clean). Staff were friendly and breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were good (a bonus as the surrounding area didn’t have many good options). Overall it was a...
