"Loved the place but unfortunately there were huge issues with our reservation where one of rooms was given away by mistake and we offered a downgraded room. Although when we asked for refund we were going to get it, it was a disappointing experience and we booked certain rooms for a reason. In the end we were given another room same quality to the detriment of someone else checking in later who would have experienced the same issue as we took their room. Really loved the room though and...

"We have just returned from a four night stay at the New Inn, Winchelsea and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's located right in the centre of the village and parking at the premises was never a problem. The landlord and landlady are a lovely couple and their staff are very pleasant and welcoming. "I only needed it for one night business. The host was friendly and the price was very reasonable considering it had its own ensuite. It's a little out if the centre but only 15mins walk from St Leonard train station. "
