"It would have been good to have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was painting works going on during our visit but, this didn't really cause too much inconvenience. Just difficult to juggle 2 coffees in the lift."

"We loved the location, 5 minutes from Princes Street! Also the hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and the facilities great. If you don’t need housekeeping, you get a voucher for a free drink! The staff are friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile! We didn’t use the restaurant as we ate out, but the bar was welcoming and cosy. We would definitely stay again! "

"Totally delightful from start to finish. A great welcome at the front desk, as well as a really helpful member of staff who recalled my phone enquiry from the night before. The room itself was excellent. Not only was it tastefully furnished and decorated, but the bedding invited the best night's sleep I've had in ages. The bathroom was very clean and nicely finished. And best of all, room was really quiet and peaceful. Overall, a total luxury at a competitive and fair price point!"

"Another great stay, really liked the improvements to the reception area, friendly staff, great breakfast and room quiet and comfortable. Only issue has been the TV, which was loosing its connection - not a big problem, but annoying. Will certainly be back! Thank you :-)"

"Requested bed guards and high chair. None provided on arrival. Had to wait an hour for a high chair to arrive once checked in. Next day had to request more towels and glasses as only 2 towels left for family of four, dressed gowns were taken away and not replaced next morning too. Cocktails looked nothing like what we asked for (strawberry daiquiris). Nice clean hotel, over priced and not what I would expect from this chain of hotels and the price we paid for the suite for 2 nights. "

Great family friendly hotel, staff were amazing!

"Stayed at hotel for a random one night weekend family get away. I read the usual reviews prior to booking which was enough for me to take a chance. I must say, the hotel did not disapoint, the staff were friendly, hotel clean and the grounds were gorgeous. When you travel with children it can often feel like your in the way of other hotel guests, especially couples who are wanting that romantic trip away. What stood out for me was that we didnt feel in the way, maybe it was the size of the hotel, layout or just how it was ran but the staff and guests were all so nice, the children were welcomed and the pool area was the biggest hit! We originally booked a double family room but were offered an upgrade (for a 40 pound fee, to be paid on arrival) to a junior suite which we went for, the room was massive with a living room for kids to run around in and a super king bed however the 2nd bed was a sofa bed, the orginal booking had two double beds. I think next time we would probably go smaller and keep the double family room but use the extra money to pay for two nights. As I type im trying to think of areas for improvement but in all honesty nothing springs to mind right now, the kids were sad to leave so for me thats the biggest indicator of a decent hotel, no stressed parents and happy children. Were already thinking of re-booking for easter. "
