"There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night."

"Even though it’s on the main drag, it’s very quiet and cozy. It’s within walking distance of at least 20 small restaurants. Wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfast! It’s hard to realize that about 80 years ago, tanks landing at Normandy rolled along these same streets. "

Helpful and friendly staff, though we were caught out by the fact they don’t staff reception all hours, so you are supposed to let them know in advance when you’re arriving, if before 3pm. "Room was small, but clean. Room 102 has a bathtub. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast buffet is included and was good. Much of the town is closed off-season. It was a challenge to find open restaurants. There is a laundromat 500ft away from hotel. "

"Overall a good stay in a good location. My wife has mobility problems and we were unfortunately put into a first floor room needing her to walk up the spiral staircase which was rather slippery. The rooms are bijou and compact but OK for mostly just sleeping and showering in. The bed in 108 needs a new mattress! One of the main reasons for us booking here was the onsite EV charging which worked on our first night but then was out of order for the remainder of our 5 nights so we had to hunt down...
