"We recently spent 6 nights at Occidental Las Canteras and the Hotel did indeed meet our needs: Location is great. You are a few steps off the Beach Las Canteras which is a gorgeous yellow sand with a long promenade full of bars and restaurants. The Hotel, although sells their stay as a resort, has no swimming pool neither provides beach service such as towels nor umbrellas/chairs. "This hotel is in a great location, very central and close to lots of restaurants & shops. It's literally less than a minute's walk to the beach and promenade and not too far from the main bus station. There's also a large shopping mall about ten minutes walk away at the harbour. The rooms themselves are clean and large, a bit dated but comfortable nonetheless. The swimming pool doesn't look as grand as in the photo if that's important for you. "This property is well located being 2 blocks from the beach, but not too close to the noise and hubbub. Restaurants and shops are close, and there is a nice bakery a short walk away. The apartment is well laid out and efficient. We appreciated the modern AC as well. We had a minor problem with the plumbing and the hosts were helpful and quickly addressed it. We had a rental car so we also appreciated the underground parking too. We would stay here again. "

"This hotel is located at the heart of the old town. Its parking is not located with the hotel. Therefore, it is not so easy to contact the receptionist to get the key so as to open the door of the parking."
