"The air conditioning in the rooms won't work until May, according to hotel policy. It feels hot. They moved us from the 5th floor to the 1st floor, and they had to provide us with a fan, which still wasn't enough. What I disliked most was that this hotel policy wasn't communicated to us when we made our reservation."

"Nice hotel 2 blocks away from center of town, but far enough to be in peaceful & quiet neighborhood. Clean room. Helpful staff. Quiet neighborhood with unassuming restaurants nearby which are actually delicious (check out the portuguese restaurant!). Pool is a plus. It is close to Interlaken West station & a 20 minute walk from Interlaken East station. Recommend this hotel. "

"Amazing small cosy hotel, be sure to book mountain side views as it is one of the best views in the area! Breakfast was yummy with fresh eggs to order. Staff lovely and polite. Spa is included which is a great touch, the hot tub was amazing facing the mountains and one of the main reasons I booked this place, although it was cold a couple of nights, they had just had a new and larger hot tub installed so were some teething issues I think, but they made sure it was warm when asked in advance....

Very slow toaster that only takes 2 slices at a time leaves guests waiting around. Serving spoons/tongs were being mixed up for eggs, potatoes and sausages and meats were touching cheeses which is off putting if you are vegan/vegetarian/religious diet. No water cooler in the communal lounge space seems very mean considering in the rooms guests are encouraged to...
