"Located right in the centre of Helsingborg, the V Hotel provided us with cleanliness, polite and tentative staff and a room which was on the smaller side compared to normal. However, from previous experience from staying within Scandinavia, we knew this was normal. A vast array of typical and Scandinavian breakfast items were available in the mornings and it even lasted until 11am! This was perfect for me and my fiancé as we like to eat later in the mornings. "The hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. A bit disappointing in a hotel at this price point. "

"On a motorcycle tour of Scandinavia we stayed in around 15 different hotels - this was a real favourite. It was slightly out of season, so fairly quiet even though it looks like it could handle a lot of guests comfortably (I imagine it's sometimes used for weddings). Our room was superb - very recently refurbished (still had that slight "new carpet" smell) and was finished to a very high standard. Very spacious, with a large bathroom and even a little entrance lobby. Each room has it's own door...

"Sauntehus Slotshotel was a very good stay. The room was comfortable without being luxe, everything was clean and working. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was excellent. The grounds and building itself were lovely. "
