"Lovely old farm house, like a museum. We stayed in the garden room. It was average could do with a face lift. Blinds were tatty need replacing. Large walk in showers, cold no heating in the bathroom. Small toilet, small squashed in sink. Wood door leading of bathroom, locked, had lots of furniture scraping noise early morning and late evening by the staff, we think. Garden outside our door was full of weeds and very unattractive. "The photo is misleading and the 4 star rating is inaccurate - it is 2 star. The old house has history and the room with the bay window was very comfortable, but the place is deserted and feels much like a sleepy Australian outback hotel when you have to shout hello to get someone's attention, and the pub is not manned and not open. I cannot comment on other rooms and if you like to be left alone then I suppose it is good value as it is cheaper than other places in the area. There is only...
