"The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. "There are awards from 20 years ago hanging around, I guess this is when the hotel got its four stars. Since then the building got pretty shabby, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is the only thing that matches the stars claim, I’d say. We received no “parking instructions” message like other Italian hotels send couple of days in advance, and it’s badly needed!
