"We were 7 adults all over 50 years old. There were ample bedrooms and baths. We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. The villa is much too nice just to be used as a base, it has great views on a large, beautiful property with many sitting and lying possibilities. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host."

"We were on a family holiday with two families and grandparents. The accommodation was perfect as we were all able to have our own space with ample communal space as well. The pool was perfect and there are many choices of areas to sit and relax. The hosts could not have been accommodating and welcoming. Easy access to a variety of local supermarkets meant catering was easy. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We have stayed before in Villa in Italy but this one is above any expectations. The house is stunning, the owner and people who take care of the place were super responsive and lovely to deal with. House could use some door screens (I think they are installing them) and maybe a few little things for the kitechen (we were a group of foodies who loves to cook) but they offered to get what we need and I can not imagine a better place. Location was great as it was 30 min walk to center of Folinio...

Kitchen was very poorly equipped & many basic items were not provided e.g. simple cleaning materials, rubbish bags, chopping board, serving utensils, wine glasses etc etc. The table was broken & wobbly, kitchen lighting terrible. "Our villa was a traditional building but with more modern facilities which was a perfect mix. Set high in the hills with a magnificent view it was a wonderful location once you got used to driving up there!! Quiet grounds, a good sized outside eating area and a lovely pool made it an ideal holiday venue for our extended family. We all loved it."
