Especially at night, it’s so quiet, you get to hear birds, see stars in the sky, man, I got one of my deepest /best sleeps. This location is also couple degrees cooler at night that in town which I really like. The staff are very responsive and respectful. I would definitely opt for the food service, it’s so good. "This is a lovely boutique hotel/ bed and breakfast . Small and intimate but exceeded my expectations. Room was large and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and huge. Hot water not an issue. Tv stations limited and wifii spotty. Lobby and dining area decor were fabulous. 3 min walk down steep steps to the lovely Ocean blu beach greeted by friendly and very helpful Musa. "First visit to Gambia and although we realised the star rating system was not on par with the UK it fell well below on many aspects. In its defence the manager has only recently taken this hotel over and things were improving even during our one week stay. The staff are lovely and the location is as good as the photos suggest. The description of a 'wellness' centre is not terribly accurate. It needs to sort out the water system as most days we had to report that we had no water and they then did...
