"The property and Staff at the Victoria were amazing and accommodating. Before we even checked in, they called to tell us that food service was ending for the day and to see if we wanted anything put aside for our arrival. We were greeted warmly and our rooms were impeccably decorated and maintained. The breakfast had a huge variety of menu options and all we tried were delicious. "What's not to like about a long tree-lined drive leading to a beautiful Manor house surrounded by green grounds and pastures, with seating. High ceilings with rich wood, beautiful wall paper and draperies will transport you...but the facilities are first rate, very clean and lovingly cared for. The bar and restaurant are very good. The staff is very helpful (thank you Nichole!) and welcoming. It is also very close to town and the National Park. Perfect!"

"The staff deserve a special mention they make this hotel. All of them are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble.. Creven in the bar who we saw most days was always smiling and extremely well mannered. Liked ease of parking and leisure facilites the bar and restaurant were also great with sports showing and live music daily. Road noise and a fan like noise in the room even when air conditioning/ heating were off were not good and the hotel can't help this but slamming of room doors...

"The setting was beautiful. Just outside the national park. The check-in procedure was fine but we had no idea where to go. There are no signs for “The Reserve.” The apartment was pleasant but it needed a good deep cleaning. There was all kinds of stuff on the floor, long hairs in the shower floors and pube hairs on the wall of the shower. The lack of air conditioning was fine. We opened the windows and it was cool. There were also portable fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen kettle also needed a...

"Nice, clean B&B, in walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Stayed two nights and found that the rooms are only serviced every other day, which is fine as far as cleaning the room or making the bed is concerned, but it would have been nice if they had emptied the trash and replenished the toilet paper daily. Overall a nice place."
