"Although next to the forth bridge be mindful that most rooms that look out over the bridge are noisy. We had to upgrade to a better room as we are both very light sleepers and the noise from the traffic over the bridge was too noisy for us. On the whole the hotel food was good. Staff were most helpful and the location good. We got the train into Edinburgh from Queensferry north which is a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Train into Edinburgh takes around 25 minutes. Would I go here again? I...

"Second time staying as a family in the lodges. Beautiful place, with nice pool and quiet gym area. We did have a bit of an issue with double payment being taken, but this was refunded as soon as we made the manager aware. Meal was nice and very well presented (though we were the only people eating so not much atmosphere). Staff all very professional and polite. Sure we will be back again at some point."

"We weren’t told that we had to book to eat in the bar after being checked in. This was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t full and we couldn’t eat before the our dinner reservation later in the village. Otherwise the stay was lovely :)"
