"Staff were exceptional throughout but particularly at Reception. A credit to the hotel and to Sweden. It's a nice hotel in good location and the breakfast is a superb. The common areas are really nice and relaxing. The downside is that the pool is part of the Spa and can not be used by "ordinary" guests. If you don't want the full Spa treatment you can't take a dip. The Classic Double that I stayed in had a large window into a closed courtyard facing other rooms with similarly large windows....

However, we arrived at 10am on a Sunday, reception closes at 5pm, so were given our keys by restaurant staff, which was ok but when we found our rooms they were unbearably hot and stuffy, and in one the bathroom fan was stuck on making a high pitch squeal. With no reception staff or night porter, we had to find a fuse box and cut the bathroom electricity in order to get to sleep. We informed staff in the morning and they were apologetic, but later when we...
