"Good Breakfast and quality of rooms.Stayed on the 5th floor which is fine in winter but in the summer these rooks are hot. Suggestion for Improvement: Phone guests on the day of checking out if they leave something behind, rather than letting them realise once they have travelled home and then realise."

"This was a good functional stay. Room clean but dated. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom tired but clean. The spa was excellent. Staff could have been more cheerful. The fire alarm went off at 4 a.m.and as we prepared to leave our room it stopped. No one contacted us to reassure or apologise. We had breakfast. Very average and again, staff were scarce and not that cheerful. 'Sit where you like and help yourself; its through there '. We also stayed for dinner. Decent menu but food average....
