"The hotel was easily accessible from the train station, it's about 15 minutes walk from the center of Meppel but we were able to rent e-bike from them and that was super convenient. The staff was super helpful, a lot of college aged students, all were English speakers, and they have a good bar and restaurant. The only complaint was the extras from the bar were quite pricey, but overall very good stay"

When I arrived at the hotel I had to pay a surcharge as the hotel classed him as an adult. Hotel.com should review their child age policy as this left a sour note at the beginning of our trip.
