"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"My first impressions were that this is a well- appointed and sophisticated resort. The design is beautiful, but be aware that the entire resort is terraced off into multiple levels, so there is lots of stairs. However, there are some strategically located elevators for those that have trouble navigating flights of stairs. "Great service. Excellent breakfast and convenient location. Bed comfortable and nice showers. Rooms are tired and dated and need some TLC. Balcony door was difficult to close and security blind almost hit my wife when it came down unexpectedly. Chair cushions faded and old in room. "

"Really great spot that epitomizes the south west of Puglia. Lovely old buildings that have been renovated. Great pool. Unfortunately this was out of action the day we wanted to use it, but I still had a dip in the bambino pool! Horses surround the property too, so day hello. Great, grand main building too, with a lovely Edra lounge in the entrance, and frescos all throughout. Definitely worth a stay!"

"Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling...

"Great place to stay. Still relatively new, so theyre working out the finer details, but the tooms were a really good size. Lovely to have an outside area, great breakfast, incredibly helpful staff, also a lovely pool area (only point id make about that is the music was quite loud). Only ither comme t id make is it would be great if there was more food/drink available during the day when by the pool."
