"Lovely hotel, we stayed in a superior room with a river view. Excellent location, walking distance to Porto and villa nova de Gaia- can also water taxi across. Roof top bar is lovely and has live music on a weekend. Free bike hire from reception. If you want breakfast to go, this has to be pre-ordered the night before which we weren’t made aware of. Breakfast had plenty of options. Overall, a lovely stay and would stay again. "

"Staff was super welcoming and helpful. The gym is decent size with plenty of equipment for both cardio and weight lifting. I did not eat at the restaurant but did try their breakfast which was very tasty with a lot of variety. The rooms are standard European-size rooms. "Helpful staff, excellent location. Breakfast fast not particularly great but the terrace is very lovely. I got lucky with the construction going on in the city and was only disturbed on one night out of three. Room was clean and had the necessary amenities. Negative was the AC being randomly turned off around 8am for a few hours and you were unable to turn it back on. Nonetheless, pleasant stay and would happily return. "

"Quiet and out of the way. Don’t expect city center, but Uber helps a lot. Breakfast was the same every day, save for one item (main) that changes. You can’t bring your room towel to the pool. You have to buy a pool towel. It’s the hotel rule. I bought two. Guess what? You see many people who don’t follow that rule. They blatantly have their room towels out. Odds they enforcement of the rule? No. "

This beautiful and clean hotel was the best place to come “home” to after a long day of shopping and touring. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace, with bar and restaurant, but the ladies (hostesses) are not very friendly. "Lovely clean hotel with nice rooftop garden. Easy access for metro but you have a slight slope to walk up and down. Good selection for buffet breakfast ate a couple of meals in the evening not a big selection but nice food. Nice staff in Reception and Restaurant/Bar."
