"Easy parking . Lovely common areas lounge bar , lounge ,dining room and reception. Staff all wonderfull could not be more helpfull. Our room let it down a little(17). Window would not open so reported Wednesday not fixed left sunday, Water pressure non existent but room very clean.and lovely biscuits."

Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in or around Sanquhar. Food is amazing too. It would 100% be my go to if I ever needed to be back in the area. Gardens and river view are great for a post breakfast walk. "

"Beautiful hotel, not a castle but a very big house built in the Scottish Baronial style. Staff were very friendly. Our room was immaculate and a very pleasant place to be. We had a good evening meal and an excellent breakfast. All told, we had a marvellous stay at a lovely hotel, which was also outstanding value for money."

"Great stay a short walk from the centre of Moffat. Caroline and Miles are super helpful and nice (Miles kept parking spaces free for us so we could park our motorcycles right outside the front of the hotel.) Plenty of parking on this quiet street. There are just 3 rooms here. They are a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great quality with lots of choice. Couldn’t fault the quality and service and will definitely return."
